The shooting schedule for At Last, Okemah! has been finalized. On Saturday May 16th, we will be shooting our "big concert scene" at Chicago's legendary Hungry Brain, which over the years has been home to many wonderful jazz performances (and even a Wim Wenders commercial). It should provide quite the colorful backdrop to the climactic scene of our film!
So here's the deal: we are going to need extras and we are going to need lots of them. If you or anyone you know would be interested in appearing in a movie, please drop by on the date of our shoot no earlier than 11:30 and no later than 12:00 noon. We will be shooting between noon and 4:00pm. Since one of the themes of the movie is the unifying power of folk music, we are looking for people of all ages and from all walks of society. We are especially looking for members of various subcultures such as punks, metalheads, goths, hippies and hipsters of all stripes. If you fit the bill (or even if you don't!), please stop by the Hungry Brain at 2319 N. Belmont Ave.
I hope to see you there!
