Needless to say, because of the extent to which our movie promotes Chicago music and culture, I am very excited that the premiere of our movie will be a local one. I really hope that everyone who is connected to the movie in any way will be able to attend this screening. For what it's worth, I would also like to point out that this is a competitive film festival and we are therefore eligible for several awards (including Best of the Fest, Best Comedy, Best Chicago Film and the Audience Choice Awards).
